Some agriculture blogs are buzzing this week about National 4-H leadership’s decision to allow the animal rights organization, Humane Society of the United States, to present a workshop titled “Animal Instincts: Service Learning and Animal Welfare” at the 2010 National 4-H Conference. 4-H National Headquarters’ official statement regarding its policy is now posted on the National Institute of Food and Agriculture Facebook page.
